World @ 2030
World @ 2030 With the rapid change in the environment, global warming has perhaps become the most complicated issue faced by world leaders. Thus it is high time that each one us takes the first step to protect our land from major disasters as well as plan ahead for our survival. World @ 2030, gives you a platform to work on your imaginative ideas on building houses that can resist the major disasters that our planet earth may face in the near future. The event is based on the measures that should be taken to survive after global warming completely destroys the earth. Since the event is based on aftermath of global warming, the calamities that can happen like floods, tsunamis, earthquakes etc. have to be kept in mind. Thus, the houses would have to be wind and water-resistant.
If the participants come up with other innovative ideas that can resist the effects of global warming, they will get bonus points.
The participants will have to go through 2 steps to complete the event. In the first step they will have to submit a 2D view of what they imagine the houses to be like. These 2D views (which they imagine). In the second step participants have to make a summery about their project.
